Or you can apply for it online through the following website: http://edenklik.meb.gov.tr/  where you will be asked to fill a form with your data and apply all the required papers, after you finish and register you will have to go to the Turkish ministry of national Education (Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü) on the specified date to receive the equivalency certificate

Documents required for Turkish high school diploma equivalent for foreigners in Turkey:

  • The original high school diploma that is translated into Turkish and notarized by a notary.
  • A valid passport and a copy of it.
  • Your student visa and a copy of it, and it can be replaced with a residence card, if possible.
  • The university acceptance letter that you obtained from the official website of the Turkish university you chose.
  • The high school equivalency application form, which you filled out in Turkish.

A date will be set (maximum one week) to review the submitted papers and hand you the high school equivalency document.

Two conditions must be met by the applicant for the equivalency of diplomas in Turkey:

  • the Availability of all previous papers with the applicant.
  • The student must have any type of residency such as student, tourist, permanent, or temporary residency. In case of absence of the residence, there must be a final acceptance of the student from any university in Turkey.
