Procedures for converting a driving license from outside of Turkey into a driving license Turkey:
In order to transfer the license obtained from your country or from your place of residence, it must be valid (not expired), and these steps can be followed after that:
- Translate your license into Turkish language and get it certified by a notary.
- Obtaining a certificate of good conduct and behavior from the court.
- Supplying a colored copy of the original driving license.
You submit the papers to the main traffic authority in the city in which you reside, and they are usually found within the security directorates.
